She enjoys the Northumbrian and Cumbrian Countryside, from the broad sweeping landscapes to the more intimate corners of gardens and homesteads which are the inspiration for a large amount of her work.
Much pleasure is derived from the contrasting patterns and shapes produced by man-made objects which appear in the natural environment.
